Tomodachi Auction

The Tomodachi Auction is one of JBBP’s largest fundraisers. Our auctions raise more than $40,000 - to support technology on campus, science, social studies and art field trips, plus all enrichment programs, including PE, Music, Art, Computer Studies, and, of course, Japanese. With upcoming SFUSD budget cuts, we need this important source of income even more than ever to continue to offer our wonderful programs!

The Tomodachi Auction is a virtual event. We'll have a range of items for you to bid on, from gift certificates to unique experiences to wine, and you get to shop from your keyboard or mobile device. A great way to meet Clarendon families is by buying into hosted events!

Bidding will close on Wednesday, May 4 at 8:00 PM.

Tell Your Friends and Family!
Feel free to tell your friends and family that they can bid too! Only certain community events (buy-in parties) are intended to be restricted to Clarendon families (and you'll see that in the fine print for those items).

Donate Items
Gift certificates are always in high demand: restaurants, merchants, spas, gyms, camps, etc. Event tickets and wine also do very well at the auction.

Create a "Clarendon's Own" Donation
People love Clarendon’s Own auction items! Host events such as dinners or hikes. Parents have already donated dinners at classic SF restaurants and Tiki parties in their own backyards. They are always highly sought after, and there are loads of options:

  • Offer to host a dinner or cocktail party at your house

  • Throw a kids sleepover bash

  • Organize a pool party

  • Share a talent

  • Donate a professional skill or service

You are clever and creative, and we can't wait to see what you come up with.
Items are due by April 11, 2022. Donations are tax-deductible.
